THE YOGA YOURSELF APPROACH

01. Compensation

In private sessions, we help you identify where you hold stress in your body. Stress may show up as muscle tightness, which may allow other muscles to become weaker. This response is compensation.

02. Exploration

Private sessions can move at your pace versus group flow classes. Here, you have time to examine sensation and try supportive positions until you feel right in your body.

03. Balance

By learning how your body compensates, you can strengthen weaker areas and release tightened areas for improved weight-bearing throughout your practice.

04. Freedom

Loading your joints skillfully and stretching deeper tissues bring about very special freedom. This usually prompts clients to examine mental and emotional restrictions that have cropped up over time.

What We Do

Don't Fret. We Support You.

Feeling burned out on high-intensity exercise yet still put pressure on yourself to be a gladiator? A private session quiets the mental chatter by providing you a challenging personalized practice.

Why We Do It

Body Knowledge Is Power.

We take a holistic approach that encourages using the body as a vehicle for self-awareness. This is the purpose of Yoga. Let us help you get clear about the changes you want in your life.

How We Do It

We Take A Journey, Not A Sprint.

Spotty Yoga class attendance may be the best you can do at the moment. We understand. Should you become ready for a personalized practice so that habit can take root, we would love to give you tools for that transformation.

Services

Our private sessions train your body movements to access freedom and improve quality of life.
